Strong financial year despite pandemic

Strong financial year despite pandemic

ICsense successfully closed its financial year on March 31st, 2022. CEO Bram De Muer comments: “Despite the global pandemic and the difficulties in the global supply chain, our revenue grew with over 7%. Gross margin and profitability were solid and stable despite heavy investments in 2021. To support the expansion of our ASIC design and supply offering, ICsense invested in new offices and in ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) hardware, ATE test engineers and product engineers.”

The ICsense team is heading to 100 employees by the end of this fiscal year, also thanks to its new offices in Ghent with a strong instream for new IC design, layout and test colleagues in the near future. Its ATE and product engineering group is now fully operational and successfully developed test software and hardware for several high volume (+100Munits/yr) ASICs while supporting mass production to customers on a daily basis. ICsense will increase investments in ATE and product engineering to further shorten development cycles, increase test quality and reduce test time. De Muer concludes, “Together with internal (TDK) test capacity and external OSATs (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test), we provide a complete integrated ASIC supply solution for mid- to high-volumes to new and existing customers.”
