CTO ICsense joins analog committee ISSCC

Member of analog committee ISSCC

Tim Piessens, CTO and co-founder of ICsense, has been invited to become a member of the analog committee at ISSCC (International Solid-State Circuits Conference). “It’s an honor to be part of the technical committee of ISSCC. It is one of the conferences that I closely follow and where all major players in IC design gather,” Tim explains. The ISSCC is the foremost global forum for presentation of advances in solid-state circuits and systems-on-a-chip and is yearly held in San Francisco, US.

Tim has been an IC design expert for over 20 years with a strong background in non-linear system design, ADC/DAC converters, power management and high-voltage design. He is the inventor of many novel architectures and circuit topologies for state-of-the-art analog and mixed-signal ICs and hold several patents in that area.

ICsense amongst “50 entrepreneurs of tomorrow”

The Belgian Financial Times (“De Tijd”) has elected ICsense as one of the 50 most influential companies for the future of Belgium. In the May 2013 edition of the business magazine, Bram De Muer, CEO of ICsense, describes the trajectory from startup in 2004 and the future plans of the company. “The growth of ICsense is stable and healthy,” says Bram,” at an annual rate of 30% continuously for almost a decade, we are now amongst the largest fabless IC design companies in Europe”. ICsense celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2014.

The core business of ICsense is custom IC design services and ASIC design and supply for the automotive, medical, industrial and consumer market. ICsense’s expertise is analog, mixed-signal and high-voltage IC design. Read business cases here.
