After graduating with a degree in Electronic Engineering and a master’s in management, I was uncertain about the direction to take professionally. I hadn’t initially considered the ASIC design and supply industry, but once I was introduced to ICsense, their work and mission, it generated a genuine interest especially in the test department.
As a Senior ATE Engineer, my primary responsibility is developing automated test programs for the ASICs we design. However, the role extends far beyond that. It involves enhancing the test framework, optimizing the ATE environment and contributing to strategic goals. The diversity of tasks, from hands-on development to system-level improvements, makes the job both dynamic and intellectually rewarding.
The work I do as a Senior ATE Engineer directly supports the reliability and performance of ASICs used in real-world systems. By developing robust test programs and continuously improving the ATE infrastructure, I help ensure that each chip meets stringent quality standards before it reaches the end user. These chips often end up in critical applications. From consumer electronics to medical and industrial systems. The accuracy and efficiency of our testing process play a key role in delivering dependable technology to the market.
What I enjoy most is the collaborative spirit within the ATE team. We have a mix of skill levels and that diversity leads to curiosity and innovation. Everyone contributes ideas, and it’s inspiring how even a simple suggestion can lead to testing new approaches. Individual strengths are recognized and there’s a strong sense that we achieve far more together than we ever could alone.
