Nov 2009 – ICsense, a leading design house in mixed-signal and
high-voltage IC design, has closed its financial year (July 2008 – June 2009).
Despite the economical downturn ICsense managed to establish a turnover
growth of 33%. For the fifth year in a row, ICsense reports positive
results with a positive cash flow.
"The last year has been an important one for ICsense,"
says Bram De Muer, CEO of ICsense, "We grew while the automotive IC
design, that was 30% of our business, declined significantly and we were able
to reap the fruits of our growing reputation in the industry to win significant
and strategic projects with new customers. This proves we deliver high quality
with short time-to-market and that we are the best long-term partner for our
customer’s ASIC developments".
ICsense has noted a significant growth of IC developments for the medical and consumer markets
during the last year. Also for this year, ICsense expects to win projects in
these markets with a focus on its core competence: MEMS and sensor interfaces,
high-voltage drivers and highly-efficient power management. To accomplish these
developments successfully, the ICsense design team has been expanded with
25% and strategic cooperations with its partners in foundry, digital
design, ESD, … have been further strengthened.
