Several Δ&Sigma fractional-N synthesizers have been developed for commercial applications. In 0.13 and 0.25 µm CMOS technologies, these synthesizers are completely on-chip with a power consumption below 2 mA. Noise and spurious specifications are carefully investigated, resulting in high spectral purity in silicon.
Features:
- Matlab toolbox to analyse the effect of non-linearities on phase noise and spurs.
- Highly-linear charge pump designs, proven in silicon
- Digital and analog compensation schemes for fractional spurs
- Low-power, wide-band programmable frequency dividers
- Fully integrated loop filter
