Fractional-N PLLs for ISM bands

Several Δ&Sigma fractional-N synthesizers have been developed for commercial applications. In 0.13 and 0.25 µm CMOS technologies, these synthesizers are completely on-chip with a power consumption below 2 mA. Noise and spurious specifications are carefully investigated, resulting in high spectral purity in silicon.

Features:
  • Matlab toolbox to analyse the effect of non-linearities on phase noise and spurs.
  • Highly-linear charge pump designs, proven in silicon
  • Digital and analog compensation schemes for fractional spurs
  • Low-power, wide-band programmable frequency dividers
  • Fully integrated loop filter
