Four-channel uV accurate sensor readout ASIC – from business case to product
For an industrial sensing application, ICsense developed an advanced ASIC-based sensing solution, going beyond what is available on the market. The system consists of a small PCB that holds the custom sensor interface mixed-signal IC and standard components. It is tailored to fit the customer's application and sensor fabrication process.
For this development, the ICsense team closely cooperated with the customer, going from concept to final product. First, we built a COTS (Custom Off The Shelf) demonstrator to prove the measuring concept. Then our design team developed the ASIC, did all prototype, characterization (i.e. statistical) and field tests and set up the production test program. ICsense also coordinated the ASIC qualification, production, packaging, ATE tests and assembly of the complete system. And last, we were responsible for the volume supply to the customer.
