      Your ASIC development  More cases

ICsense has developed several ultralow-power ADCs typically for sensor/MEMS data acquisition. Our engineers have refined a technique to trade-off the resolution, power and area using the same ADC topology. This topology can easily be ported to different technology nodes.

    Examples:

    Low-area, low-power MEMS read-out ADC

    • 13 bit (> 12 ENOB)
    • 5kS/s
    • 0.05mm2
    • < 8uA current consumption
    • 1.62-3.6V
    • Continuous time extended counting (current mode)

    12-bit, 200kS/s SAR ADC

    • 0.45mm2
    • 450uA including reference buffers
    • -40°C to 200°C operation
    • Ultralow-voltage operation

    15-bit, 1.4nA LSB Hall sensor read-out ADC

    • 0.15mm2
    • 1.6-1.8V
    • 680uA (noise limited)
    • Continuous-time extended counting
