    Your profile

    • You are a dynamic and highly motivated computer science engineer or master in informatics/computer sciences.
    • You have and maintain a (wireless) Linux home network or have previous experience with linux system administration.
    • You have good knowledge of:
      - Computer networks: Vlan, routing/bridging, secrity, tcp/ip...
      - Programming languages (perl, C, matlab, bash,...)
      - Operating systems: linux, OS X, windows,
      - Virtualization: vmware esx
    • You demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.
    • You are a self motivated, efficient professional able to work independently.
    • You use self study to find solutions and upgrade your knowledge.

    Job description

    •  Configure and maintain the complete IT infrastructure of ICsense.
      - Manage the server park
      - Manage the Linux workstations and notebooks
      - Manage the windows workstations and notebooks
      - Back-up management
      - Assist users
    • Research and optimization of the IT infrastructure:
      - Clustering techniques e.g. sun grid array
      - Virtualization
      - High availability/High computing hardware
      - Redundancy
    • Manage purchasing and maintenance contracts for hard- and software.
    • Manage and integrate CAD tools for IC design (Cadence, Mentor, Matlab). No specific knowledge of these tools is required.
    • Write software for business-specific purposes:
      - Write perl/matlab/bash/... scripts to optimize the CAD environment
      - Write drivers and firmware for lab material and custom made PCB boards
      - Assist in digital designs: firmware for custom ASICs, ...
