Every Segway vehicle needs a precise gyroscope. For the vibrating ring MEMS gyroscope, MEMS interface experts at ICsense developed both the high-voltage, high-accuracy driving chain and the low-noise angle detection circuitry. The high-voltage driving chain achieves over 12-bit accuracy and is based on a temperature stable, mHz accuracy tuning system. The low-noise angle detection is integrated with high-end switched capacitor techniques. It has been successfully brought into volume production.
