      Your ASIC development  More cases

ICsense has developed an asynchronous DC-DC converter and driver for Xenon HID lamps. the ASIC generates the required voltages for ignition, startup and normal operation of the lamps. Included are the igniter, H-bridge and the H-bridge driver, which operates the lamp in AC for higher durability. A power regulation loop generates an accurate PWM power control to the lamp up to 35W. The ASIC measure the current and voltage of the lamp and generates the power errors signal for the DC-DC converter. We have assessed the loop stability of the whole system using Matlab models which are part of our design environment.
